Misery Guts

I liked this entire book, but it starts out slow. I sortof liked it starting out slow because it got me more interested in the book to see if it would get more interesting, and it did. You see they live in London, but something happens that causes them to move. Then, they go to Austrailia. But, to get morre details on this amazing book and adventure, you have to read the book, from front to back. I liked this book because it is unpredictable. Also, it has a lot of different words in it, so it enriches your vocabulary. I would reccomend this book, if you like books that you can't tell what will happen next. Also, if you like books that are an adventure.

Misery Guts

I liked the book overall. It is about a boy named Keith, and his parents who are sad and Keith tries everything imagineable to cheer them up. Keith is only about twelve years old. Keith also burned down their store in England. They move in with his aunt and uncle until they find a new place to live, permanently. In the meantime, Keith is still trying to cheer up his parents. Then they move to "paradise" . You have to read the book to find out more information.

Misery Guts Book review

I read Misery Guts,by:Morris Gleitzman. In Misery Guts I liked some parts and disliked others. For example Keiths discription of London is pretty funny. Oh by the way the story takes place in London. One reason I disliked this story is because it has some words that are hard to understand, like mum and sette.Another reason I liked this story is because,It was interesting. You might have a hard time reading this story if your eight or below. I reccomend this book to older readers with more experience because of the hard words. But if you are looking for a story you don't read every day, I reccomend this book.

Misery Guts

Misery Guts means sad, unhappy, or dejected, or so it seems. In the book Misery Guts a boy named Keith is growing up, trying to make his parent's smile and be happy. But, nothing will work. England is where they live, and it's just too boring and unhappy. So when Keith tries to make his parent's smile, he's never far from trouble. Then, he finds a tropical paradise called Australia. He knows that it is the place that can make his parents smile and be happy. He begs his parents to go, but they say no, no, and no! But, when Keith burns down his house and shop, they have nowhere to stay. So will Keith ever make his parent's smile by convincing them to move to Australia or will he and everyone else be a Misery Gut forever! This book was for me. When I read this book ,it shouted amazing, exciting, cool, fun and one of a kind!

Fun Book!

It is about a boy who tries to cheer up his parents. His parents were misery guts which means depressed. They were not able to make money in England. He tried again and again and again to cheer them up. One of his schemes had disastrous results. Keith tries to find a way to persuade his parents to go to Australia where he believes they will be happy. Who knew that that Australia had crocodiles, poisonous jelly fish, and lots of other dangerous creatures? Read it to find out what happens next. This was a very fun and humorous book!
