Mirror the Landscape: Reflections on a four-month journey across America

A ten-year-old 20-foot camper van was our home for four months as my husband, our dog and I traveled around the United States. It was a winter's journey that took us to National Parks, Monuments, Coastlines, Forests, Deserts, and Canyons. Each of the natural landscapes was an opportunity to reflect on their individual beauty as well as a reminder of how to live life as a new septuagenarian. I look back at these sites and explore my feelings about life, nature, and aging with a greater insight into what these landscapes meant to me.
