Miriam is based in the 1800's. It is the story of a young woman's life as a single Christian who is being pressured by her family to find a suitable husband. When Miriam isn't successful, her family sends her to Philadelphia to live with her Grandmother Carol. After several years, and no success Miriam returns to her family with her Grandmother. She resumes her life in Tullersburg, Pa. with her job and all of her friends. Soon a local young man shows interest in her. Will it be the match her family is seeking? Or will Miriam have to continue her search for Mr. Right?
