Minor Moments Major Memories

This book show us all a side of baseball, the minor leagues, that is unknown to most baseball fans. The stories are well written, interesting and give us an insight into the starts that many major league players had. This book would be an ideal gift for a young player and also for a father's day gift. They wont be disappointed.

Minor Moments, Major Memories

This is an excellent book. It gives you the behind the scenes look at players as they grow up to the majors. It is very enlighten. Once I started to read the book I had to finish it that same evening. Great reading.

The Best Of The Becoming The Best

This is an outstanding book. Some stories might be short but its not about the length its about the quality and the quality is excellent! A great book to read during an air flight or a train ride or even in the car. A musr have for all those who live for baseball or someone wanting to know how the majors started small.

FINALLY - A BASEBALL BOOK ABOUT SOMETHING

This book is truly about something you never hear or read about...the minor leagues! As a huge fan of minor league baseball, I really enjoyed reading the neat stories associated with the game in the words of so many baseball stars. This book is filled with light-hearted, enjoyable tales of when times were "not so glamorous" for these players. Whether you follow Major League Baseball or are a fan of the minor leagues, this is a must read!

The way they were

A quick, enjoyable read. This book takes you on the buses, in the dugouts and clubhouses and puts you at the next table in the fast food restaurants frequented by todays major league stars before they made it to the big show. Leinweaver and Bradley capture the essence of minor league life as told in the first person by the guys that lived it. It's funny, sad, sometimes poignant but always entertaining. Don't miss the Piazza story. Overall, great stuff.
