Minnesota's Rocks and Waters

This is old textbook. I have edition printed revised edition fourth printing 1973. It is from the University of Minnesota Press, Minneapolis. I love rocks. I used to live Arizona for a few years, that was wonderful. Then I moved to more tropical areas. This book has cover, photo of river over rocks. But the title covers most of the photo. But inside are marvelous photos. A geological story. The book is a gift to the citizens of Minn, to show major geological features of the state and the ability to admire the beauty. In order to appreciate, you need to know the forces that produced it. Diagrams line drawings how the earth shifted to make the landscape. I love it, although there is lots of text. This is not all photos. But the ones that are there great. There are close up's and there are long shots of cliffs. This is an old book and probably not printed anymore.
