Four romantic stories

Minnesota Brothers is four stories about young Swedish immigrants finding love in their new homeland. THE OTHER BROTHER: Olina Sandstrom left her home in Sweden, against her father's wishes, to marry Lars Nielsson. But Lars didn't meet the ship. Instead Gustaf, his older brother was there. Faced with the news that Lars has married and moved to Denver, Olina is frightened and alone. The Nilsson family took her in and give her a home. She discovers that Gustaf is all the things Lars wasn't, strong, steady, and dependable, but while she is attracted to Gustaf, she knows he only sees her as a friend. HIS BROTHER'S CASTOFF: August Nilsson loved Anna Jenson, but she preferred his brother, Gustaf. But Gustaf met Olina Sandstrom, and Anna fell in love with Olaf Johanson. Right before the wedding, Olaf died on a hunting trip and Anna is afraid to trust her heart again. Can quiet, shy August Nielsson teach Anna to forget the past and give love another chance? DOUBLE DECEPTION: Anna's brother's, Ollie and Lowell Jenson, love the same woman, Rissa Le Blanc. The problem is, they never know how Rissa will behave. Does she love either of them? or is she just playing with their emotions? Can the two brothers mend the breach in their relations caused by a woman who can't seem to make up her mind between them? GERDA'S LAWMAN: Gerda's brothers each had found wives, and Gerda loved them dearly, but would there ever be someone for her? Frank Daggett, a former lawman rode into town, investigating a lawless gang, and while he seems to be attracted to her, Gerda wants no part of him. Her family likes and accepts him, but can Frank overcome Gerda's doubts about his past?
