This research documents the situation that the inhabitants of the municipality of Tasco Boyac have been facing, due to the violation and impact of the human right to water by the coal mining exploitation by the company Hunza Coal in the delimited area of the Pisba paramo, by the mining titles approved by CORPOBOYAC , guided by the alleged benefits of economic growth and appropriation of royalties, This is guided by the supposed benefits of economic growth and appropriation of royalties, which translate into national economic and social development, leaving aside the guarantee of rights and destroying water sources in the paramo zones, evidencing environmental impacts, leading to the process of social mobilization that the inhabitants of the area have been carrying out to defend their human right to water.
