Minimalism Speaks highlights my personal journey of downsizing and the events leading up to that life changing decision. Coping with devastating loss, debt, and no emotional support system, I reinvented my heart and soul through a process I still can't put into words today. The short stories are simply for enjoyment but shadow the realities of my life; some are true, some are altered, and some are completely fabricated. They are a purge of my sadness and pains, but not without quiet reflection and introspection. The overall message is to live your life, appreciate the little things, and never give up your dreams because they appear to be too distant. Life is full of amazing miracles if you choose to take notice of them.
