The card puzzles are solved when, starting from the clues given, the picture cards from an ordinary pack of cards are laid out in four rows and four columns so that there is an Ace, a King, a Queen, a Jack, a Heart, a Diamond, a Spade, and a Club in each row and in each column. In wordfind, the puzzler has to find the words hidden in a grid of seemingly random letters. In one-clue crosswords the cells contain a number. To reveal the words, the solver has to work out which letter corresponds to each number. One letter-number pair is given as a clue. A sudoku is solved when each of the digits from 1 to 9 appears once in each row, once in each column, and once in each 3x3 square.
