Dilbert is an ordinary guy, a businessman and a family man. He experiences an unusual day that will forever change his life. The story opens with a mysterious floating watch in a void, before transitioning to Dilbert's morning at home. As he deals with his energetic five-year-old son Woody and receives a puzzling phone call, Dilbert heads out with his cousin and business partner Renelle to secure a substantial loan for their paper manufacturing venture, DR Paper Lab. However, something feels off about the bankers, leading them to withdraw from signing the deal. Dilbert then attends a mysterious 6:30 appointment with a British therapist known only as 'The Voice.' Through some sort of regression therapy, Dilbert revisits a traumatic childhood incident where a bully named Germain pushed him off his bicycle, leading to an injury that was only survived thanks to Renelle's intervention. This session is the first glimpse into The Voice's unusual practice, as he helps Dilbert access "time knots" - traumatic moments where time itself has become tangled in his personal timeline.
