Militant Liberty is an exploration of militant strategic thought through the lenses of history and theory.

Guerrillas often approach conflicts with an overemphasis on the tactical realm. Successful guerrilla groups throughout history (such as the Original IRA, the Taliban, and ISIS) were able to make gains and consolidate those gains by having a unified, long-term strategy to work towards. Their tactics were then derived from their strategic vision, aimed not just at defeating their foes militarily, but also successfully disseminating propaganda, interacting with the civilian sector through Civil Affairs, and developing and maintaining effective intelligence apparatuses.

This book seeks to analyze some of the strategies and tactics so as to create a well-rounded understanding of how guerrillas find success in the complex socio-political conflicts they find themselves in.
