Mila is born in a litter of Husky pups in the zoo. One thing makes Mila different. Her hair isn't gray, black, white, or brown, it's rainbow colored Mila the rainbow Husky is a big attraction. Everybody wants to see Mila. Too many people crowd around Mila and make so much noise that it damages Mila's hearing.

Mila is finally adopted by a nice woman with a big house and a black cat. Mila loves living there and dreams of the adventures a rainbow Husky and a black cat can have.
