This study on migration in Burkina Faso is essentially based on the literature review. It aims to better understand the concept of translocality. Overall, the documentary research made it possible to understand this concept by first addressing the issue of environmental migration and urbanization. It also makes it possible to understand the main factors, processes and impacts of translocal mobility as well as the issue of governance and sustainable translocal mobility in Burkina Faso.
