Thank you for picking up this book. It is actually a prequel to one of my favorite books: Gracious Times, a romance. I loved the character of Midnight so much and the story of Thomas Mowery that I just had to give the reader more. This novel comes to you with two main points of view. You are introduced to Midnight and then the relationship between a puppy and his human, where you learn much more of the life of Thomas Mowery. Both parties play key roles in the story. I hope that you enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed writing it.
