Enjoyable Learning?

Yes, enjoyable learning. Fearsome though this concept may be, I found that I enjoyed studying this book. From desktop customization to registry management and beyond, Windows 98 Training Kit does indeed provide you with the basics for completion of the 70-098 exam. It even covers concepts such as Win32 driver model and core system components. The brief chapter on Win98 architecture was somewhat vague and slightly overwhelming at first, but with some thought and study, and help from the Resource Kit, I managed to get it figured out. As for the rest of the book, the implementation of Windows features is covered in a fairly straightforward manner. I would recommend purchasing the Windows 98 Resource Kit concurrently, as, despite its awe-inspiring girth (nearly twice the size of the Training Kit!), it makes the perfect supplement for your studies. Besides, you're buying these to get professional certification, right? Why not know it all?

This is an excellent book for the candidates appearing for their mcp's and wanting to test thier fake in the beta exam.this book provides all the necessary items to be completed by the mcps,but he thing is, not all books provide all.The Pre-reqisite is builiding a self-confidence all proceed all with your efforts.Success is on the road,which is visible to you.For instance this is book is good. thanking you

Just about a 10 for training material.

This MS Press book is not like the old press books. To my suprise I found a "Prep guide" in the front which was 100% of the prep guide on the WEB site. I took the Beta exam and this book was enough to wade through the questions with ease. I did however find a few errors but nothing that would throw anyone with understanding of the product off course.
