This Book is great!

I state, "This Book is Great" but I also must say, This Book is Great if you don't know Front Page 98. I had had Front Page 98 for some time and finally made my mind up that I was going to publish my web site. I had no knowledge of FP 98 and this was the book I purchased. Wow! It was able to teach me everything I needed to get Published. Now.....once you are published and want to do more you will need another resource. If you accept that you will need to purchase another book down the road and this one is to get you started, this book is for you.

Excellent interactive tutorial

Being a software developer I was originally skeptical to buy a "step-by-step" book since I thought it might be full of simplified advices. However, the book appeared to be both enjoying and comprehensive. All examples worked, supplementary videos were very useful, and product presentation was logical. The book even cares about deleting your lesson materials from the hard disk after you completed them. If you're new to FrontPage, this book is just for you.

Excellent Beginner Tutorial

Excellent for anyone who wants to self-teach themselves the basics of FrontPage98. Lessons are clear and understandable.

Great for Self-Teaching or Classroom

The book was easy to follow and very helpful. I used it as a textbook for some PC-savvy users and we got through nearly the whole book in a single-day class. Features were covered well and a quick refresher allowed me to coach kids to make Web pages on "Take Your Child to Work Day"!My only complaint: as the book progresses, the exercises assume that the "shared border" feature is on. Unfortunately, the exercises fail to carry this through, so you must keep turning the feature on with each chapter's exercise. Otherwise, the exercises were great.

Simple and Easy reading for the beginner.

The book gives a basic knowledge so that you can create your own web page in a short amount of time with FrontPage 98. It reads very easy, and the little review tasks, help re-enforce the newly gained knowledge. Only one complaint about this book, it leaves you wanting more, so as a first book it's great!
