Great introductory text

Great overall organization and illustrations. Lots of pictures. This is a great text for introducing Access to new users. However, the amount of errors and unclear explanations increase as the authors dip into VBA at the end. Overall, it's my favorite intro text, but it MUST be used with a qualified instructor to point out the problems.

very halpful for beginners

although the book contains and excessive amount of text and illustrations, they were done well. I did find the book somewhat busy with the different colored text and is some areas confusing. If you are reading and sitting at your computer I found it allot easier than taking the book and digesting the information.
