Mickey's Crhistmas Carol by Myriah Rangel

This book is about a duck named Ebenezer Scrooge. He was a really selfish rich duck, and he hated Christmas. He had always been a nice boy, until he decided to pick money over his friend. Ghosts haunted him, and showed him his past. He had seen his own grave in the future. He finally decided to change, he was a very happy person. He loved Christmas. My favorite character was Tiny Tim, because he just loved the thoughtfulness of everyone, not the gifts.

Faithful Retelling of the Animated Movie

Our favorite Disney characters people(?) this version of the Dickens classic. Mickey is the poor but honest Bob Cratchit, and Scrooge McDuck, Donald`s miserly uncle is the only choice for you-know-who. The text adroitly transforms an entire movie into a few short pages, creating a palatable version for young children. The devilish version of Christmas Future, featuring Goofy`s bullyish neighbor, probably has more meaning to little ones than the Grim Reaperish version. But I hope parents will go further and share the original with their older children.

Mickey's Christmas Carol (Disney Classic)

Walt Disney has superbly adapted his characters to those of the famous Charles Dicken's Christmas story. Great entertainment for young and old, with lots of laughs. This story keeps with the true meaning of Christmas and is a great book for the kids. It shows all about love and sharing, and teaches what Christmas is all about. Disney has been delightful in the choice of characters and settings. A MAGICAL book!
