Michael's Mom

A well written travel log of a cross country trip with Mother and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) teenage son. The journey takes him out of the classroom and societal expectations to face life outside the box. Michael sets a goal to see 50 states over his two summer vacations and the reader travels along for the adventures and misadventures. The book is emotionally gripping as Mother and Son struggle to sort out lifes lessons and perceptions of a child with ADD. The book is clear, fast reading, and full of interesting travel tips for anyone who wants to cross this beautiful country and allow Gods gifts to enter the soul.

This book will inspire all parents!

This was a great book because it really speaks to all parents with children. ADD or not--raising our child to be who they truly are is a challenge for all us. I applaud Terry's honesty and openess about her personal journey. We can all learn from her courage to really look deep inside and finding her way as a mother and a woman. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us!

A Wonderful Journey.....

This books is heartwarming and courageous. A beautiful true story about a family's struggles and triumph over ADD. It takes you along on a journey and allows the reader to fully understand the daily struggles for parents and kids alike. It also gives every reader insight into the beauty of all people despite their differences. A must read for any parent. Will certainly shed new light on children who face the challenge of ADD in their lives. Beautifully written by a wonderful mother who cares for her young son.
