From a political demonstration to a strip club, from a state visit to a farmers' market, von Graffenried's raw, authentic images document Hungary as it exists now
These 145 photographs by Michael von Graffenried (born 1957) show Hungarians today, of all generations and classes, eking out their daily existence under an increasingly authoritarian regime encumbered by a lack of freedom of the press, a compromised judicial system and the oligarchic tendencies of Viktor Orb n's national-conservative Fidesz party.
