Mica Powers and the Legend of the Superstitions: When Lightning Strikes Heroes Are Born

By M S V Walker

NEW SCI-FI FANTASY ADVENTURE BY AN AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR

A power yet to awaken. A kidnapped mother to save. A legend that could rewrite the future of their world. Mica was only five years old when dark forces ripped his mother away from him. Eight years later, at thirteen, he resides at the prestigious Domain Arizona School of Spinical Studies, where young mythic-magic users learn to unlock their true potential. But while his peers master incredible abilities, Mica waits in frustration for his own magic to manifest-determined to unlock the power he needs to stop the evil that tore his family apart. When Deedra, the ruthless leader of the Dreads, reemerges with a terrifying plan, everything changes. Deedra is hunting for an ancient, lost weapon rumored to hold absolute control over their world. Before Deedra can claim it, a mysterious Navajo spirit guide sends Mica on a desperate race across the Southwest to find the artifact first. Joined by Estee Bradford, a guarded orphan girl who sparks an unexpected connection, and Kevin and Kelly, a pair of quick-witted twins, Mica sets off into the unknown. Together, this unlikely band of heroes must brave scorching deserts, treacherous mountain peaks, and dark subterranean caverns crawling with dangerous beasts and ancient traps. To save his people, Mica must unlock his true heritage before Deedra catches up-only to discover that what lies waiting at the end of his journey is beyond anything he ever imagined.
