A mexican history masterpiece

Traditional mexican history books always have a tendency to hide or overlook the terrible aftermath of the War with the US. The traditional explanation is that Santa Anna sold half of the country but "M?xico Mutilado" provides a totally different standpoint. It is true that Tejas, California and New Mexico were stolen by a powerful pirate with a mask of a fierce freedom defender but even the US most powerful cannons didn't cause the damage that the "civil war" between liberals and conservative was taking place since Mexico Independence from Spain. US generals didn't fight alone this war, Mexico was stabbed from inside: Santa Anna (allied with Polk), Roman Catholic (pig) priests and traitors help to destroy a young nation. Again, this is a real MASTERPIECE that helps to understand not only the US war but the complete history of an independent Mexico.

its an good book to learn new facts.

From what I have learned by reading from other writers and historians; the story in this book seems to offer facts. There is a lot new information that previous books didn't contain. Information that was probably hidden or never revealed. It is fascinating how strong the writer criticizes the Mexican Napoleon! the grates president of all times! "Santana" (a real joke he was) and also; the thief! President of the US "Polk" who guided by the Holly spirit! planned the grates rip-off in Mexican history. The book explains by detail the way Mexico was cut in half just to fulfill the greediness and the popularity of a careless US president, taking advantage of the weak and exhausted Mexican army and the corrupted, lack of patriotism, lack of love for its nation, careless, full of thieves Mexican government and its ignorant politicians, whom until today keep existing and contaminating that nation. Over all it's a good book to learn about what really happened between two neighbor nations.
