They are fabulously flavorful and rather easy to make, provided you have an international grocery store in the local vicinity to purchase Mexican staples from.

None of these recipes list substitutes for the Mexican staples called for, so if you are unable to get the ingredients from the international aisle at the local grocer, then you may try and substitute with what you have available; however, doing so may alter the finished product and flavor, so try and get the ingredients listed if possible.

Several of these Mexican dessert recipes will go over well during the hot summer months that are rapidly approaching. They are a favorite around our household every time the weather starts to get warm.
