A metaphor is a literary figure of speech that describes a subject by asserting that it is, on some point of comparison, the same as another otherwise unrelated object. Metaphor is a type of analogy and is closely related to other rhetorical figures of speech that achieve their effects via association, comparison or resemblance including allegory, hyperbole, and simile.A scrambled word is a word which retains all its letters but the sequence in which these letters appear has been randomly shuffled. The objective of this game is to figure out the original sequence of these letters. The first two-thirds of this book have hidden words from popular metaphors. Synonyms for each hiddenword are provided as clues but they are scrambled to make the process of arriving at the answers more challenging. The last third of this book uses extended metaphors on the subject of love as puzzles. (Extended metaphors are literary devices that are used as a way of carrying forth a set metaphor to great heights.) Each word of the extended metaphor is scrambled. Only after all the original words are uncovered will the literary passage be revealed.
