A great read overall.

This book describes in detail the lovely and often ill-treated Swan and Canning Rivers in Western Australia's capital city, Perth, and environs. I'm not sure if this work would be as enjoyable for someone that has never been to this area, or does not enjoy small boats, wine, and the Aussie sense of humour. I enjoyed the read, and my next trip back to this area from the U.S. will contain some type of small boat time on these rivers, and I'll be sure to watch where I paddle.
