Poetry. Garry grew up in the 30s and 40s in the south in North Carolina and served in the Korean War, he was deployed to Japan for 2 years during his service. He was raised by two working parents in a lower middle class house hold with his older sister. He married his high school sweet heart in 1956 and took over his father-in-law's mens clothing store after his military service, which he ran with his son until his retirement in 2002. He shares his thoughts about his faith, segregation, how he views himself, his goals, memories, and finding the love of his life.
