Are the messages what my father used to go for at the village? In Scottish terms that means grocery. Well no is the answer. Messages for Summer are a series of short stories about a group of animals having adventures in the North Carolina woods. they are called the chums,headed by the wise Owl. Do the adventures only take place in the summertime? No is the answer because Summer is a 6 year old girl and the messages were for her enjoyment only. That was the intention, until Summer decided to make some drawings of her own. You can see them in the book. Summer's Mom thought it a good idea to make a book of the stories with Summer's drawings. That is how a close friend created a small book with a few of the stories. More stories ensued and eventually, the book as it is now was produced.So who is the book for? Well it is for you, no matter what age, from 6 to 80 and even more. You will find the book reveals the truth about dragons, the real power of wands and how Santa delivers the presents without humans seeing him.
