Magical

I thoroughly enjoyed the magical journey that E.L. Barclay provides in his book Merlin's Star. With all the responsibilities of being an adult in an every changing and fast-paced world, it was so relaxing and entertaining to experience a world of magic and fantasy. Plus, the message is pure and simple as well - one that all can relate to. I highly recommend Merlin's Star to others.

A Magical Journey that made me feel like I was in another time and place.

When I read this book to my nephew (age 9) both he and I were constantly anticipating what would be on the next page. Merlins Star has many messages for both children and adults that is woven within the plot of the story. It has many twists and turns and is written in a way where you are always looking around the corner for the next mystical event. I also noticed a change in the authors writing style compared to the first book. The writing is more complex in the plot and characters. This too, I also enjoyed. Must Read. Highly recommend.
