Friends are friends forever...

This short and to the point book is comprised of three sections: cultivating the possibilities, developing the relationship, and sharing the benefits. While quite short, Jones does a good job of covering the main points of what to look for in a mentor and how to develop that relationship. At the end of each chapter there are several questions for reflection. For those already in a mentoring relationship there are more detailed books available that will be able to assist with problems. This book is for those just starting out who want to know what mentoring is, where to begin, and what to do. I suspect that most people's biggest problem with entering a mentoring relationship is finding the motivation. This book is concise enough that most will be able to push on through and come away rewarded.
