Oliver Murphy is a blue-collar workaholic who eventually succeeds with his own contracting business. Self-absorbed, he ignores his daughters and is constantly unfaithful to his wife, Vera. He would rather spend his time after work at the pub than go home to his family. Then, in the prime of his life, his behavior begins to change, and he receives a grim diagnosis: early-onset dementia. Initially, Oliver's presence is profoundly positive for his family, and everything seems perfect -until a new person enters his life and derails everything.
