An entertaining coffee-table book

Disclaimer: I sell this item. The author, Dr. Carl Segal, has been a practicing psychiatrist for over 40 years, and is also a professional photographer who has a spectacular portfolio of animal photographs. He's combined those talents for this book. The majority of the book is arranged with facing pages - the left side defining a common mental-health term, and the right side containing a picture illustrating the term (most often in a humourous way) with an animal photograph. Informative and entertaining - I had a great many laughs reading the book, and learned a few things along the way! The definitions are brief - this is NOT a mental health text-book - but informative, and the photographs are oustanding for their quality and humour.

A novel view of mental health - and laughter

The book presents a wonderful, humorous view of mental health, coupled with extraordinary photographs of animals used to define & describe various aspects of the mental health profession. The humor complements the serious and knowledgeable content of the book. Would make a great gift for any mental health practitioner.
