Have you ever felt inadequate, or uneasy about serving in a public manner? What made you feel like this?The purpose of these lessons is to help men become confident in leading the congregation in the public worship of the church. Since God wants us to worship Him "in spirit and in truth" (Jn. 4:24), and has given us specific instructions on how we are to worship Him (Acts 2:42, 20:7; Eph. 5:19; I Cor. 16:1-2; etc.) then, by implication, it is necessary for men to help in conducting this worship.
