This book describes the earlier ordnance and small-arms designed by Rafael Mendoza, during his time as a volunteer under Francisco Villa. Mendoza, named by the Guns Magazine as Mexico s Machine gun Maestro was a prolific arms designer and entrepreneur, with a high sense of service towards his country. Mendoza launched the very first national-produced light machine gun, which served for more than 3 decades to the Mexican Army and Navy. He ventured to design also submachine guns. After his death in 1965, his son H?ctor took over the company and successfully positioned Productos Mendoza, as a reference in the arms industry in Latin America. As of today, the company produces handguns and submachine guns for the military and law enforcement agencies in Mexico.
