This book is a history of St. Patrick's Seminary, Menlo Park, California on the occasion of its 100th anniversary (1891-1991). The author traces the story of the seminary of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, staffed by the Sulpician Fathers. While the earlier decades were relatively calm, the troubles of the seminary in the period immediately following the second Vatican Council were not untypical of similar developments in other Catholic seminaries in the United States at the time. Co-published with Catholic University, Department of Church History.
