Men of Dignity and Courage

Though we speak mainly of Dignity in this book, we must realize it takes a man of resolute courage to remain unflappable and unstoppable in his pursuit of a dignified life and testimony. There are so many character traits which could be added to the above. Consider love, compassion, boldness, humility, valor, steadfastness, etc., etc. Yes, the list could go on and on. We could add determination, toughness, even tenderness and more. We cannot be men who are weak, indecisive, faint-hearted, cowardly, double minded or selfish. We know also that we could add many more chapters by including great missionaries and men of the recent past. We could include such great worthies as William Booth, Hudson Taylor, C. T. Studd and many, many more. And what a blessing it is to read of these great men. Let me close with this: "Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good." 2 Samuel 10:12
