She has written an earlier book, Adventures in Faith & Motherhood, that introduced Bible memorization. Married to her husband, LaRue for over 59 years, together they raised five children and now have 18 grandchildren. Her greatest joy is her family; studying the Bible, the Word of God; and memorizing and meditating upon Scripture.
