A Rose for Maria is set in Paris France, 1950. A young man named Sam Hudson leaves his home in New York and embarks on a journey seeking fame and fortune. Upon arriving he discovers that poverty and hardship would quickly become an issue he could not face alone. After meeting an American pianist named Artie Smith they help one another make it through troubled times. A woman from Sam's past soon stumbles back into his life. This sparks old flames while he desperately keeps from other flames igniting.

A Summer in Naples takes place in Italy, 1946. Grant Moore returns home to discover the town he lived in had been rebuilt due to the massive destruction from the war. Many of the families had been torn apart from what used to be a pleasant town. A questionable nightlife had spread throughout the area because of an establishment owned by a local war hero. When Grant learns who it is that's responsible for disrupting the peaceful town he makes a stand for the greater good.
