This is a book of minimalist poems written over a long period of time. There are seven sections, each depicting a period and a particular pursuit in author's life. 'Embracing Emptines' addresses inherent emptiness of human existence. 'Letters to a Kind Gatekeeper' are poems dedicated to author's spititual teacher. 'Love of Love' and 'Cup of Light' speak of romantic love. 'Marina Postcards' contains poems dedicated to author's friends, and 'Big Sur' is a farewell to the middle age. Last section 'A Year from Last Tuesday' was written some 20] years after poems in previous six sections. These poems were inspired in part by Samuel Beckett's mono-play 'Krapp's Last Tape', and they present an older's person view on his previous travails and his current state of mind.
