Long before Robert James Waller wrote The Bridges of Madison County, he had an affair with a college student named Jana St. James. Chronicling the story of impossible love through her eyes, this book... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I absolutely loved this book!! I bought it several years ago at a 99 cent store and couldn't put it down. I have read it many times since and I cry everytime. I loved the "Bridges of Madison County" as well but nothing drawns me in or tugs at my heart strings the way that this book does. It makes me long to feel the pain of lost love just for the moment to savor the joy in experincing love so deep it changes you forever. I understand that people may feel it wasn't neccessary for Jana to bring this out into the open now, but she has a right to tell her story just like anyone else.
Better then The Bridges Of Madison County
