Heberto Salgueiro born in Cuba on the 6th day of September 1929 in a farm called "Las Mercedes", located on the road Ojos de Agua between Cort s and La Grifa, one kilometer in distance from the center of town "Cort s", municipality of Guane, Pinar del R o. As a young child I was always very curios and try to keep up with my surroundings and the happening, one of the things I loved the most was reading all types o newspapers with at the time arrived by mail form Havana, Cuba. My interest in keeping myself up to date made me a vivid reader of newspapers such as Luz, Prensa Libre, La Marina, El Mundo, El Pa s and many more that circulated around Cuba at the time. And my rejection to any type of dictatorship both to the right and the left, after a very tragic family accident which occurred at the very early state of my life took me in becoming a "Double Revolutionary", which is the main focus of all my memories and themes of this book.
