Memories, Not Dreams

Two boys from opposite ends of Africa find themselves in a foreign land when they go to college in the United States. Despite the apparent difference in personality, religion, culture, and even interests, they bond. Like two cloths cut from different wools, they came together to form a sweet blend. However, just as their adventures were getting better, a pandemic struck. Now, in the middle of this carnage that is bringing the world to its knees, they both decide to look back at what had been. As the rest of the world dreamed about life post-pandemic, they re-lived their greatest memories together. From two different perspectives and voices, you not only get to hear the story of two friends in college but also share in the life moments that made them who they are. They retell the conflict they face about religion, friendship, race, change, and most importantly food. And in the end, as they go their separate ways, they ponder on the lessons the world offered and the opportunities they got.
