Extrordinary Life

Just a quick note since I am not finished with this. Petro Grigorenko was a very independent minded and hard working man who had considerable success in his military career in the Soviet Army. His story is a riveting one and an very interesting portrait of the Soviet Union and of WWII. His style is clear, sharp and unsentimental. Highly recommended to anyone interested in Soviet history, or anyone at all for that matter.
