As a child having 2 older brothers I learned some good and some bad qualities, even things to be avoided or things which was beneficial of older siblings. The same might be true of this publication. This pastor shares his story in a hope that those who follow may grasp the concept that many will be considered failures by men's standards of acquisition and growth of numbers but I'm here to tell you not so.

This is being written out of obedience to the leading of the spirit of the Lord. In the book of Hebrews 11th chapter, we call it the "Hall of Hero' s/ Faith" which includes many of the well-known of our scared scriptures yet it stress' something quite interesting (vss. 39-40) "Not one of these people, even though their lives of faith were exemplary, got their hands on what was promised. God had a better plan for us: that their faith and our faith would come together to make one completed whole, their lives of faith not complete apart from ours." So my question is can you stand the test of endurance without the apprehension?

Ours is not to acquire things or notoriety but to fulfill the call which God has placed upon your hearts. As Jesus said it "It's to serve and not to be served". And lastly to be faithful over what God has released into your care whether small, inadequate, or great. Will you be faithful?

My prayer is that this will inspire you to be as Nehemiah determined "To complete the work that is so great" & not be caught up with the hype of our times. And that the Lord will use your uniqueness for the furtherance of the gospel and His Kingdom.
