The best book I've ever read!

The best book written by a dog. It tells what the dog is thinking, also tells if your a good owner with Genevieve's test, plus alot more. I recomend this book to anyone who has a dog(especially papillon owners),or is a pap lover!

Call me surprised

My friend Karen Helms loaned me her copy of this delightful book, which she figured I'd cotton to because our family dog is a papillon. As a realist who views things anthropomorphic with suspicion, I doubted author Dennis Fried could make readers believe his papillon Genevieve wrote this book. "How silly," I thought. "He'll never pull it off."I thought wrong. Fried did pull it off, with remarkable creativity and humor and a great deal of insight. He must have had a tremendous amount of help from the lovely Genevieve. If you've ever wondered what your dog is thinking (and are sure you want to know), feisty little Genevieve will tell you in no uncertain terms. So, take a break from the rat race. Let Genevieve teach you the fine art of "zooming." A few zooms around the living room will make you feel like a pup again. No bones about it.

A MUST HAVE

This book is a MUST HAVE for any dog owner who ever wondered whats really going on in those tiny little heads of theirs. Genevieve is quite a mischevious little girl who will have you in stitches from start to finish. Being born in the 'home for unwed mothers' and having to drink from the 'furry milk machine' had no adverse effects on this dog! She's a dog with lots of attitude, creativity and a great sense of humor. Every dog owner (or future owner) should have a copy of this book. Its a GREAT gift idea for your dog-loving friends who may be too embarassed to admit they really don't know what their dogs are thinking.

A "must" for all dog lovers -- and their companions!

Wonderfully witty, Memoirs Of A Papillon: The Canine Guide To Living With Humans Without Going Mad is the story of Genevieve, a two-year-old papillon, who "comments" to dog owners through her human companion Dennis Fried on such diverse issues as driving tips for dogs, the tragedy of doorbells in television commercials, measuring the intelligence of humans, finding a reason for cats, how prehistoric dogs saved the caveman's bacon, converting a home into an agility course, and productive kitchen behavior. This little compendium of canine wisdom and insight is a "must" for all dog lovers and companions!

The exciting adventures and opinions of a little dog...

This book is hilarious and laughing outloud funny. It is written from the standpoint of a Papillon, but even people with other dog breeds or no dogs at all will get a kick out of this book. It is very cleverly written with several pictures of Genevieve and her humans. It is a charming read and would make a great gift.
