This book is dedicated to all of us who grew up dreaming, seeking out the role models and stars we wished to emulate. As musicians we aspired to be great, to be famous, and to make a lasting impression on the world and history.

Sadly, most of us never er found that lofty pedestal. But here's the thing, we still managed to forge ahead and hold true to our craft, performing for our friends, our family, and for ourselves. We gave of us in small venues, in churches, in schools in local restaurants and clubs. We did it for our love of the music and for you.
So this is a thank you for coming and listening, for validating all the practice, all the rejections and all the successes however small, because it meant the world to us. You unselfishly paid us in the only currency that really mattered, your applause. And so, for all the loyalty and appreciation and yes, even the love you showed to us, for there is no music
