Memoirs of a Deplorable: A Donald Trump Base Voter

I am part of the lower middle class. I am a white male over 40 with a conservative default and very patriotic. I am an educated person close to a graduate degree. I am also married to an immigrant that is not the same race as I. I voted for Trump and against Hilary and the Democratic party because I Deplore identity politics. I believe merit is the greatest quality for deserving opportunity. The degree of merit does matter but not without struggle, for struggle is the challenge we all need to make us deserving. The Democratic bases does not corner the market on struggle. My memoir is my struggle and is what according to Hilary Clinton, makes me Deplorable. Something to think about heading into 2020.
