A Look Into An Intelligence Officer's Exciting Thirty Year Career Memoirs of a Cold War Colonel reflects a myriad of assignments and responsibilities undertaken by Col MacArthur through his thirty year career (1959-1989). He plotted and planned against our adversaries while stationed in Germany (three times), Thailand, Turkey, Alaska, and the Pentagon. These Memoirs also unveil how military family life is affected by the constant travel and pressure while military personnel are serving our nation.
I hated World History in school and yet I was enthralled by the sheer intelligence and military background provided by the author. The family love and experiences are evident in each passing paragraph.
Most Excellent!

Although this is my brother's book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and have loved watching how it has developed. He and Peggi had a wonderful marriage that was cut short with Peggi's passing. I found things out about my family that I was not aware of, mainly because I was 12 years younger. This book was a work of love for Bill and I hope all enjoy it that read it. Merrilee
