As I write this memoir, I have reached the age of 84. I have had a long and varied career in the workplace since graduating from college in 1956, and I have lost my life partner of almost 59 years on October 11, 2013. I thought writing this would be both therapeutic for me and possibly a useful bit of history for my adult children and grandchildren to help chronicle some of the life steps that got me to this place in time.
