Melodic Soloing in 10 Days
Most guitarists reach a point where their solos stop improving. The patterns are in their fingers but the music isn't in their playing - every improvisation sounds like a scale exercise because that's essentially what it is.
The problem isn't lack of practice. Scale patterns train your fingers, not your ear. This book takes a different approach: instead of learning shapes, you build scales interval by interval - starting from the triad and adding notes in order of harmonic strength. Within a few days you stop navigating by shape and start choosing notes deliberately, the way genuinely melodic players do.
The program runs over 10 days, covering the pentatonic scales, all seven modes of the major scale, and selected melodic minor and harmonic minor scales - all built from the ground up using the same interval-based method. Work at your own pace; the checkpoints at the end of each section will tell you when you're ready to move on.
Four backing tracks are included to use throughout the program.
