Melissopalonolgy is the study of pollen in honey. Analysis of pollen provides important information about the pollen composition of regional flora, the nectar is major raw resources for the bee keeping industry it transform in to honey after conversion by the bee. As no such work has been carried out in Gadchiroli district, it was planned to explore nectar sources and prepare bee floral calendar of this region which will help to enhance apicultural practices and to provide subsidiary income to rural and trible people in this area.
